â€Å"Being there† is an account of a man named Chance who knew nothing other than cultivating and what he saw on TV. His activities, decisions, and contemplations were each of the a multiplication of his encounters with TV programs and planting. In the wake of being sponsored up into by a limousine driver Chance turned into the focal point of America’s every day news. In spite of the fact that not having the option to peruse or having any basic information about the outside world Chance uses his insight into planting and what he sees on TV to help him in discussions with individuals and to exceed expectations in reality.      Having no contact with the outside world while growing up, TV was Chance’s just perspective on what society resembled. By flipping through the channels, Chance saw the various ways individuals would communicate with one another. TV furnished him with various perspectives on and society. TV was his break to be whoever he needed to be. Whenever Chance came into contact with various individuals he had a thought of the proper behavior in their quality. Whenever Chance was going to eat with Mr. Rand and E.E. he chose to mirror â€Å"the TV program of a youthful agent who regularly ate with his chief and the boss’s daughter† (Kosinski, 39).      Also whenever Chance was being met on â€Å"This Evening†, he utilized his insight into planting and what he saw on TV to get him through the meeting.
